Emily Roembach-Clark

she/her

birth doula, birth photographer and filmmaker, postpartum doula

I’m a mother of two, a world adventurer, and a longtime fan of tiny homes. Being a truly good friend is one of my most-deeply held values, and I cherish time spent with the ones I hold dear - both family and chosen family. Given the chance, I would watch re-runs of "The Office" every night after the kids are asleep, then curl up with a good book; I’m definitely one of those people whose eyes light up when asked what I’ve read recently. I moved to Minnesota in 2015 and reside in White Bear Lake with my husband and five-year-old daughter, Della. We welcomed our second child, Hugo, in the fall of 2019.

I’m a professional photographer of eleven years and my specialty is capturing the expectation of pregnancy, the magic of birth, and the early parenthood journey. My work includes motherhood, birth, newborn, postpartum, and family sessions. Each allows for the type of storytelling I am most passionate about: honest, professional documentary-style photographs that celebrate family connection and allow you and your loved ones to be fully present during birth and the special period of bonding that follows. Having a trustworthy artist on hand to preserve the power, emotion and memory of these days allows you to focus on experiencing the moments as they unfold - and to celebrate and remember them in days to come.

As a trained doula, I am extremely comfortable in the birth space; as a long-time visual artist, I know what it takes to create stunning, evocative imagery that will forever remind you of the milestones and moments you only have the opportunity to capture once. Like each one of my incredible co-Founders, I’m fully committed to a lifetime of learning and growth to ensure that my support is LGBTQIA+ affirming, trauma-informed, and rooted in anti-racism.
