We know firsthand just how important photographs are, especially photos of once-in-a-lifetime events. Capturing birth stories is our passion, and we love preserving for families the memories of their little one’s entrance into the world. But sometimes the birth of a sweet babe doesn’t include taking that baby home. Instead, the story stops shortly after it starts. At Gather, we believe these births need to be captured too — these moments need to be preserved, and these stories need to be told.

Gather Birth Cooperative provides birth photography free of charge to parents who are facing the prospect of saying hello to their little one, and then goodbye. Your birth story coverage is complimentary with no hidden fees. Our average documentary session takes about an hour, and your photos - usually in full color - will be delivered to you within a week, for you to look at whenever you’re ready. We will approach our time with you with openness, empathy, and a deep respect for your experience, and we will honor your journey.

While we can’t promise we’ll be able to join every family who requests our services, we believe strongly in supporting our local community in this way and will make a good faith effort to be there for you.
