This birth brought the “community” into their birthing location, Roots Community Birth Center. It was a room filled with close family and friends, laughter, presence, and peace. The way the room lit up when the birthing person had reached 10cm and was ready to start pushing still has me grinning from ear to ear. They loved her and her baby so well. This is what birthing in community looks and feels like.
