Lactation Support

IBCLC - Lactation Support Services

Good lactation support can make all the difference for families as they navigate their breastfeeding or chestfeeding journey. Gather Birth Cooperative offers lactation support from a board-certified lactation consultant (IBCLC) to families living in Minneapolis, St. Paul, and the surrounding suburbs.

Lactation support is about meeting each individual family where they’re at. Every parent has different goals for feeding their baby and lactation support with Gather Birth is driven by creating individual plans to meet your needs. Gather Birth has supported families looking to exclusively breastfeed/chestfeed, incorporate bottle feeding with human milk or formula, and exclusively pump, as well as many other lactation needs or situations.

We provide home visits for families in the Twin Cities. A $30 mileage fee will apply to those who live more than 15 miles from Uptown, Minneapolis.

A little bit about your IBCLC:

Brittany is a parent of two whose lactation experience started as a NICU nurse. She has been an IBCLC since 2019 and has continued her education with certifications in infant massage and training in assessing oral/tongue restrictions. She has supported many families in their lactation journey and has maintained exclusive breastfeeding relationships with her own two children. In addition to her role as an IBCLC, she is a birth photographer, birth doula, and postpartum doula.
